FAQs: Astrology Consultations & Practice

What information do I need to provide for a birthchart reading?
You'll need your full date of birth, exact time of birth (as accurate as possible), and place of birth. The more precise the data, the more accurate the reading.

I don’t know my exact time of birth. Can I still have a reading?
Yes—while having an exact time is ideal—it allows for the most accurate chart—I can still provide insights using a solar chart. In some cases, I may also use chart rectification, which estimates your birth time based on key life events.

What’s the difference between a birthchart, transits, progressions, and a solar return?

  • A birthchart is a snapshot of the sky at the moment you were born—a unique astrological blueprint.
  • Transits refer to the ongoing movement of planets and how they currently (or previously) interact with your chart.
  • Progressions are a symbolic technique used to reflect your inner, psychological evolution over time.
  • A solar return is a chart cast for the moment the Sun returns to its exact natal position—once a year, usually on or near your birthday—highlighting the key themes and energies of your year ahead.

Can astrology help me make important life decisions?
Astrology offers guidance, timing awareness, and greater perspective—but it doesn’t make choices for you. It’s a tool for insight, not a substitute for free will or personal responsibility.

How often should I get an astrology reading?
That depends on your needs. Some clients check in annually, while others prefer readings at key life moments or transitions. You can book a session whenever you feel the need for clarity or direction.

Do you offer consultations in other languages?
Yes—I offer consultations primarily in English and French. I also understand Spanish and Italian well (though I’m not fluent), and I have a working knowledge of German for basic communication.

Will you tell me bad news?
Astrology isn’t about doom and gloom. My approach is compassionate, grounded, and constructive. Even difficult periods have meaning and the potential for growth and transformation.
